... Lost Horse Valley and surrounding mountains. It was way cooler than Keys View at the time. So I found a nearby pile of rocks to climb up on, and just sat in amazement for a long time. There was a great view of the "Wonderland of Rocks", or what I like to call the wonderwall. The north side of the valley is lined by a long row of small granite mountains, looking like a solid wall of rocks just plopped down onto the plain.

From the top of the canyon you can see the dwellings under the cliffs. The dwellings were all abandoned around 1300 AD and several theories have been postulated why they were abandoned.
