Well. Not quite what is was all those years ago. I remember canoeing around to this deserted beach that was impossible to get to from the island due to a lake behind and no road access. How things have changed........... The end of the only main road is this beach which has the accolade of one of the most beautiful in the world. Hmmmmm. Now aimed at the sun loving tourist market and was packed with people ...

... out into the sea. Luckily I got my own cabin as they are very compact... You have everything that you need! The weather is so hot, our first stop from Skiathos was a cove on Skopelos island where we got on our swim suits and went swimming ... I loved it, so buoyant in the sea.
After a refreshing swim in 26 degrees Celsius. Rob and Amber (his wife) made us a fantastic lunch, walnut and blue cheese ...

Travel day, sleep in, pack up, have my last delicious lunch in Santorini, then head to the airport for my flight to Athens, then onto Skiathos. My last lunch Kleftiko lamb, the verb 'klevo' in Greek means 'to steal'. This delicious lamb dish is called 'kleftiko' because, it is said, that when Greeks were fighting to liberate themselves from Ottoman Rule ( Seljuk Turks in 1500's) and hiding in the mountains, they would seal ...
