    Rarotonga – Aitutaki

... It had pedals like a bicycle but you only used them for placing your feet. We spent the day traveling around the island stopping now and then. We returned our scooter and had dinner at a restaurant right next to the scooter rental place. When we were ready to go home, one of the staff at the restaurant drove us back. How great was that? No security to go through, no baggage screening. You just hand over your suitcase, show your ...

This is most in evidence down the market, where locals seem to pick just the requisite amount of fruit or cook the minimum amount of ready-meals necessary to provide the amount they need, for whatever they need to buy. People smile and wave, and are always willing to give a lift ...

19 october Flight to Aitutaki , just 40 minutes. Beautiful view from the plane over this magnificant atoll. Our beach huts are quite rustic, made from palm wood and leavesz, with a view directly to the lagoon. 20/21 October Cruising over the island with our vespa. Not much other to see than the beautiful lagoon, white beaches and lush palm forest. There are in total 5 places where you ...
