    After a very limited night of sleep the heat still woke us up... Standard tent life in southern Europe! Up at about 7.30 we got ourselves sorted and had a quick breakfast of mozerella, tomato and bread.

    ... out. We are a bit hooked on expresso now and won't order any other coffee. I am sitting on our terrace writing this blog bathed in moonlight by a nearly full moon. The outlook is breathtakingly beautiful. Not sure if we will catch the bus to Ravello tomorrow, but we will decide in the morning.     ... chandeliers. It's simply spectacular, so I sit in silence and awe and take it all in. Of historic interest is that the bones of Saint Andrew, Jesus's first disciple, were brought here in 1208, and lie hidden under a heavy slab of marble under the altar. Apparently for over 750 years on the eve of the Saints holiday, a dense liquid, Manna, appears and for the Amalfitani, is a sign that inspires feelings of intense spirituality!

    ... steps to climb up and 100 to climb down ... Life in Amalfi! Liam's comments: the flippers are amazing as well as the goggles you can really find amazing things in the water with them.
