To end our first day (yes I know I'm late), we had lunch and dinner from local stores in Costa Rica. Wandering around the streets, we realized two things. 1. The drivers are crazy. 2. Many of the local men seem to find our group...'interesting'. The drivers (especially bus drivers) do not follow the whole red light, green light rule, and a cross walk is like the hunger games. Tonight we went to a super fancy dinner on the 17th floor of the hilton in San Jóse. Thankfully, I didn't spill on anyone or any item of my clothing! Before dinner, we learned the salsa, the merangue, and the barachi (I definitely butchered the spelling). Kids in Costa Rica learn these dances beginning in 6th grade and they dance this way for their version of homecoming and prom! It's so much better than our prom! Granted, I couldn't actually follow ...
