Highlights: -called my host mom in the airport to say 'hola' and 'see you soon'. She spoke zero English and I speak close to zero Spanish. She obviously caught wind of my nerves, because she kept repeating 'tranquilo' which means 'calm down' ;) That call lasted all of 2 minutes. -arrived in Costa Rica and had to go through customs before getting my bags.
