... we had lovely sunny weather and would have loved spending another day! It is really a beautiful green ride and most is on good pavement via the Pan American Hwy. We have 4 sister/cousin groups on the trip and all live far away from each other...so always plenty to talk about.

Capturing San Jose by night light: Parque Central with the green lit dome in the middle and some street performers, Catedral Metropolitana where a service had just finished and street night life in and around the brightly lit buzzing Avenida Central pedestrian mall.

... you start to go through small town after small town- each with stops for the locals. Here- it appeared quite normal that not only would people stop in each town- but at individual houses along that stretch of road 100 metres long. Also- people would jump on at one end of the town, and jump off at the other. This despite it being the same sort of bus as the intercity or knight rider.
