Driving in Costa Rica is very exhausting. There are not any addresses, street signs. or roads labeled. As we traveled we could not find one street sign that was numbered or named. We got lost at least 10 times try to get from point A to point B.

The oldest told about starting the leather business in his house, then moving to a new place alongside the highway a few years ago. Their workmanship was nice -- they never stopped working as we talked -- and they produced a couple of machete scabbards in the time I waited.

After a long 19hr bus ride to the not so appealing San Jose we were delighted to find ourselves at the luxurious Marriott Hotel. Pools, Jacuzzi's, absurdly comfortable beds, bars and food galore.
