    ... the roads they needed to control all met in Bastogne. They were trying to get to the port of Antwerp to disrupt the Allied supply line. Back to Bastogne. From December 20-27, the Germans attacked the town. The Allies held. When the Germans thought they had them in a position of surrender, a German soldier was dispatched to request the Allied surrender. American General Anthony McAuliffe simply said "Nuts!"     The beach front has a very well laid out promenade with
    various monuments, fountains and contemporary art works along its length. The

    ... right, they claimed it. It was big, lots of carved hedges. I would recommend it to any person who likes carved plants.

    Once we explored over 30 topiary trees we headed for some lunch. heading back to above the market. Found a nice gastropub and got some food. Maggie ordered the creaser salad and i got the mushroom soup with bread and Froi Gras. Unfortunately maggies ceaser salad came with langoustine. As she is allergic to shrimp we didn't ...
