For now the rain has stopped and it’s feeling noticeably humid and muggy.
Waiting….waiting – at this rate I’ll be ready to enjoy the last of my Chianti by the time we get to Como!

Finally organised and off we set in our little Fiat Panda....haha what a hoot. The driving was quite taxing for poor David as nearly straight away we were driving over mountains and through tunnels with lots ...

Thank you for all your comments about the blog but we haven't quite finished yet! Still about 24 hours before we'll be on our doorsteps, a whole city still to explore and at least one more blog post! ... especially loved how they had put up panel paintings. They weren’t hanging on the walls but were sticking out so they could be viewed from peculiar angles, all through the cathedral.

We grabbed pasta at the cheapest restaurant we could find and was confronted with the rudest waiter. He just asked us what we wanted before even giving us the menu, took away our food basically as soon as we were done eating and then just gave us the check before asking us if we wanted ...

... take classes on martial art techniques - this one specialised in Israeli combat. Carrying on, we got ourselves sorted and we're ready for the little pixies to come in for some little pigs.
