    ... for a slice of spanakopita, and we managed to find a shoe repair shop. The owner recommended Bougris, the local taverna just across the cobblestone lane. A family affair, the restaurant was splendid and traditional.....meal balls and tomato sauce and stuffed eggplant and tomato.     ... is not over warm as yet.
    We parked up at a marvellous lagoon area north west of the Corinthian canal and had a great bike ride around the coast to the inlet, finishing with a tasty fish meal. Huge fish called Gravos.. all of 5 cms long! Octopus in vinegrette was very nice. They would eat their hearts out to see the size of our snapper.

    There was another family from Greece on our boat, so our boat driver didn't even try to explain the caves in English, but our neighbours on the boat got a full 25 minute explanation. The only time he spoke to us was to yell at Paul for moving in the boat. Paul had only moved to avoid getting knocked out by the low hanging stalagmites!
