First ferry experience: Wadi Halfa (Sudan) – Aswan (Egypt): approx: 350km
To put it bluntly, the ferry from Wadi Halfa to Aswan is little more than a floating vessel on which people are let loose.

You need to be at the port two days before the weekly ferry leaves to organise your ticket
Departure procedure:
Passengers are requested to be at the boat about five hours before it is scheduled to leave. The five ...
Corfu was surprisingly warm today, around the mid 70s, which was warm enough for us to spend some time at the Aqualand water park. I've never been to a larger water park and we make is just in time before they closed for the winter. Me and my buddies played around until it began to get cool towards the late afternoon.
This morning we visited the ...
... why I wasn't taking video sooner I'll never know. But I am now. However, I have to pay $0.60/minute for internet so I will probably wait to upload all the photos until the end of the trip when I'm at a regular internet place.
Hope you all are also having a fabulous and relaxing week. And if you're not, take a deep breath and remember, "We're all going to the same place. We're going to get there. Just relax." I'm hoping that was calming and not just morbid. :)
... road to hail a woman who had just crossed with a lunch in her hands, he persuaded her to give it to him and we lurched off down the road with him holding a steaming bowl of potato stew in one hand and a large bun in another. In the interests of road safety Chris offered to nurse the stew – phew!!!! It was hot in Oia and the scenery spectacular, better than all the paintings and post cards depicting it. Even saw an Asian couple having their ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece sewtersojourns... But it was a lot of fun when we got there (although so dodgy, no long pants or gloves or safety talk or anything) and think I was champion of the girls ha.
After that just went and sat on the beach and chatted to people and enjoyed the niceness of it all. Was such a cute place and a lovely night. And we spent our last night sleeping on the boats which was very sad because we'd had such an amazing time. But no time to be sad cause next morning we were off to Athens!
... turned into quite a spacious bed. And in the main area there was a little sink, fridge, gas stove and lots of storage space - and there was even a bathroom in the middle. Very cool little boats. And so our crew was me, Dean, Erika, Dangerous Dave and Leanne (/ Lee). It was the best crew ever and we seriously had the most amazing time. But I'm getting ahead of myself! So Lee (our captain) had a meeting with the guys in charge of the sailing and all the other ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece t_leeThere is a town north of Corfu and it's really cool, but it's a village in some way.Though, I did visit the Corfu town and I must say it is AMAZING. All those fortresses and fancy resturants and bars were a total hit! Everybody was so relaxed, people aren't that stressed at all. I ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece indianabones... everyone else instead of going to Patras
-Tatum and friend sleep through arrival and end up in Patras (Smitty tried unsuccessfully to wake them up)
According to Bosh's mom in an email, the weather back home is "pittsy"

... before. We walked down and caught the bus back to the harbour where we met 3 people from England. They were heading the same way and on the same ferry so we hung out for the night. We spent another night of sleeping on a ferry deck. This one was a little more fun as there were people playing music and dancing around on the deck. It was good entertainment and a great way to end our Greek adventure. Tommorow we will be in Italy and the adventure begins again....
Corfu, Greece beautiful_freak... shores of the Ionian Sea, everywhere is gorgeous. There's lush tropical vegetation all over the place. Fresh lime and pomegranite trees to vibrant, fragrant flowers growing wildly across the mountains. We have had an incredible time here and it's only our second day. There are so many things to do here, we might stay an extra few days. Yammas, Chris and Davey
