Living in Paradise - French Polynesia: Island Fun

... out the underwater paradise. And it truly was a paradise! Lagoonarium really lives up to it's name, its exactly like swimming in an aquarium with the amount of wildlife that calls the area home. Rumour has it that they do put out some feed at times to attract sharks, but on the whole it seems to be fairly natural, and the area is kept up beautifully. I was glad we had inside connections though because most people spend $40 to $60 ...

... I had to take it, we’re in Moorea!

So after taking a tender boat we all go on a different boat with open sides and
benches to sit on. Our guide was “Robert, or Bob, I know it is not a Tahitian
name but it is my real name”, lol! We took the boat towards our ship into the

Bora Bora! Then we sailed ...

Upstairs is a coffee shop with free Wifi so I was all over that!
I called Mom and our connection wasn’t so good but it was nice while it lasted. I got updated on everything I needed to and I got ...

... all about the switchbacks, that was for sure! It was fast going though, luckily it had been a dry couple of days so the trails were clean, whereas I definitely would not have wanted to do this hike right after a heavy tropical rain! By this time it had probably been about 4 hours, and within the next half an hour we had made it to the first sign of Three Coconuts Pass! From the pass itself you couldn't see too much of a view, but there was a side trail that sneaked around near ...

      3rd Stop - Moorea

... natives of the islands are a mix of Polynesian and French (for the most part), which means they’re a very attractive people. Brown-skinned, dark to light, and well toned – probably because they work hard to make a living. There’s not much to Moo’rea other than ...
