    Alrighty, so we were well on our way and decided that we needed to stop and get gas...or at least get out and stretch our legs for a bit, and get a bathroom break in.

    ... a sign for the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge and Prairie Learning Center. Peg had actually read about it in the book Off the Beaten Path that Len and Lois gave us. The Prairie Learning Center was very informative with a 15 minute video on how they were restoring the prairie in this refuge and a number of interactive exhibits.     ... see Izzie. She has changed so much in the last month. At dinner, Izzie wanted Grandpa to walk her around the restaurant. She pretty much did her own walking - I held on to one hand. And her smile continues to light up our life's.

    ... Tomorrow, they will finish up the work and we will head to Iowa City. We should be in time for Izzie's birthday on the 24th.
