... stopping by the American Pickers headquarters in LeClaire, IA. Trying to get past Des Moines today.

5:47PM CDT update: We had a good ride today. We crossed our first time zone so we gained an hour of daylight. Night 30: Endless Nebraska From Loveland, CO, to Clive, IA Today I drove 670 miles which took almost every waking moment. Weather was a bit humid and sunny with temps in the upper 80's. Today has been a super bitter-sweet day. Although I am beyond excited for my journey to begin, I have been dreading moving out of my apartment in Ames for weeks. We're not living there next year, and knowing that I have to say goodbye to it for good just makes me so sad. It's been such an amazing year with so many great memories in that place. It's the perfect location, my room is ridiculously huge, and plus, who doesn't love living with their best friends?! ...
