      Great staff, clean bungelow and a beautiful beach. Everything was amazing. I have no complaints. Oh and the massage ladies are MAGIC!

      We rattled up the road from the ferry port in the back of a songteouw (a what?), which is basically a covered pick up with two benches in the back ( the name means two seats), along with a whole heap of groceries and laundry destined for our guesthouse in Haad Salad.       ... tonight saw Captain Phillips, Tom Hanks film. It was very good (didn't much like the lifeboat). If you get a chance it's well worth seeing. Well that's it for today, nearly forgot when we were in Na Trang I bought a traditional Vietnamese outfit, it was a bit bug across the shoulders. Luckily I have brought some sewing bits with me and I have managed to take it in a bit so the next formal night I shall wear it. ...

      Arrived at Surat Thani train station at about 730am.. Looks like a small town in Malaysia with a row of shophouses just opposite the station. Got redirected by a lady to "red" and we thought it was a cool retro looking bus that we were supposed to take (but the guy in charge of the bus said no, not for us).. then we went to stand in front of the correct bus.. but was told to wait and then go over to one of the shophouses ...

      ... sounds of a good time in the hallway right outside our door. I finally stepped out a bit after 3:00 and asked them to hold it down but even at 4:00 their doors were now closed and we could still hear them going strong so I went down to the desk to get help and the said that they were sorry, but that the group would be leaving in 10 minutes anyway.
