... feet into the cold tundra with elk grazing on the high meadows. So beautiful but freezing cold. On top of the world with wide views. Walked the half mile to viewing point and nearly froze. It was very windy. Lots of tiny alpine flowers. Stopped for a welcome hot coffee at the cafe at the top. Over the top and down the other side. The board I demo'd today was a $500 board, I don't plan on buying it but wanted to see what it was like, the shop assistant was insistant that I should try it as he liked it.
