After a restful night, we took our time in the AM. Went to a highly recommended breakfast place, Creekside Cafe. Sat outside on a tributary (Soda Creek) of the Yampa. S- Rancheros with eggs, and chorizo sausage J- Corned beef eggs benedict. This place more than lived up to it's reputation.

... locals drinking and partying. We found a table outside on the river where you order from the bar and they deliver. S-Italian pressed sandwich J- Muffuletta and a beer. ... not fully lucid these days and is basically seeing no one.

After the obligatory champagne and warm nuts, Vicki and I both had the Sea Bass for dinner it was exceptionally good for an airplane meal. We each tried watching a movie and I chose Jack Rencher. Bad choice! It was a typical Tom Cruise action flick that followed the Hollywood formula to a T.

... so special - and they were turning off the water on Monday .... so ...

We headed out and landed in Steamboat Springs. Aspens and hillsides are so beautiful. Stopped at a ranger station looking for a campground with trees. They sent us to Bear Lake in the national forest. 9700 feet! and what an amazing experience.
