... come from in Delphi. We could actually see the town of Delphi from our beach chairs, about 20 miles away and high up on Mt. Parnassus. Meanwhile, the throbbing European techno music kept the place moving and the forever crystal-clear water was very relaxing. The weather was very hot and the sun was very strong so frequent trips into the sea were required to keep cool.

... From Alyki we headed west along the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth and into the small harbour at Andikiron. Although the waterfront appeared attractive with tavernas and restaurants we found the rest of the town somewhat soulless so after just one night we moved on to Galaxidhi.

... Leanne takes it slow, but even so it is a poorly maintained and very rocky path we are driving. After an agonising ten minutes the road levels out and we come about to the church itself, but it is sadly fenced off and locked up. We get out and take a few snaps of the surrounding area and I try and get a couple of the church too, but it’s hard with the fence in the way. ... Here is when our Amazing Race skills kicked in.. Nicky was on her phone within seconds, searching for flights from Athens straight to Rome, I was madly calculating in my head what a cab driver might accept to take on the quest of getting us to Patras in time. Once Nicky was done with flight options, not getting the sold out 2.30pm bus was going to cost us in the region of at least $750AUD..not even counting the cost of the missed boat fare, ...

... were on was also a nice ship with a great crew but amazingly this crew is even better. They’re so friendly, helpful and want you to have a good relaxed time on board. Most of us left the Knossos lounge and went to the A la carte restaurant for supper and it was quite nice. After supper we all ended up at the pool bar mixing with a bunch of great Romanian guys who all are taking different truck shipments from Greece to everywhere. . ...
