      ... warned not to eat the brownies!!! About 6 of the group went to buy some and a couple of aging hippies were reliving their youth!! However we did not partake and I was pleased that my training ghadlearnt from the kids at Shortwood made me more knowledgable than I'd realised about the drug scene!! We were admitted to the Bob Marley area and a Rastafarian guide allocated to us! They were all as high as kites but full of peace ...

      Another beautiful day and very hot though there was a breeze and Rob was able to twice enjoy sailing round the Bloody Bay! No I'm not swearing!! This is what the bay here is called and stems back to the day when it used to run red with the blood of whales that were killed here!! It's amazing how quickly the day goes just watching the beach ...

      ... retrieve the anchor. A new one is hellishly expensive, and in the meantime the one we have isn’t quite up to the job so someone needs to stay with the boat to make sure it doesn’t move. The last yacht in a race from Fort Lauderdale had just arrived, so a party was turned on at the club and we were invited to free cocktails. Needless to say we went! We met a few interesting people and had a delightful evening.

      ... in the Caribbean was on the cards whilst sucking on the free local beverages after the race. The finisher medals were amazing and certainly one to hang in the pool room. We had meet lots of great people and the run was such a fun atmosphere. For the record the times were pretty slick for the serious competitors but mainly everyone was there just for the fun of running which is great to see as sometimes people can get a bit caught up and forget why ...
