... varmen! Den første december var der juleparade i downtown Honolulu og derudover skulle julelysene tændes. Så for at komme i julestemning skulle vi selvfølgelig opleve det! Co startede sammen med jenny og nogle nordmænd på en is cafe kaldet Bubbies. De har det lækreste is, islagkager og Mochis! Det sidste er is indbag i risdej og så frossen. Impeccable guests, some jerk chicken & a proposal
... thing the last time we were here. Anyway, that night we went to the beach to watch the sunset and Ben proposed! I can't remember what he said (it was nice) but I said yes! I was so happy and he got us some champagne to celebrate. The rest of our time in Maui was a bit of a blur as we were busy telling everyone about our engagement. Women's Prison - today's destination
Yesterday Steve drove me along the south coast from Waikiki to Makapu'u Head. So there were opportunities to see lots of coastline. At the Head, we climbed up to a lookout to see - more beautiful coastline. In the late afternoon, we went to the yacht club (Steve belongs to an outrigger canoe group based there). Lørdag endte vi
som traditionen tro på stranden (fantastisk som altid). Der tilbragte vi så
dagen med at nyde det dejlige vejr (her er stadig høj sol og 30 grader) og en
sød veninde, Katrine’s, selskab. Vi mødtes op med Katrine igen senere på
aftenen hvor vi endelig ville prøve den mest besøgte restaurant ...
Aloha Waikiki
Our first stop on the cruise was Honolulu. Since we have been to this island before and saw most of the sites, we thought we would spend our first day off the ship at the beach. We headed out, walked along the coast line, through the shopping district to Waikiki beach. We rented a couple chairs and an umbrella.
