Today was our first full day at Arco Iris hotel in Tamarindo. We woke up early, had breakfast and then went to the beach. At the beach we played soccer, and Caleb schooled me. We also played in the sand and swam in the ocean. We went back to the hotel and everyone had a nap. After the nap we went to the pool and we met Gavin, Kaius, and Brynne. We played Marco Polo with our new friends who were from Edmonton. That night, we went to Wok N Roll for dinner. It had great ...

We ate supper at hotel - fettuccine, focaccia, bruschetta, pizza - yum. Off tomorrow to Tamarindo for 5 ...

We returned to collect Claire from the thermal baths and took the tractor down to the water slide. (400 ...

I went to Sámara on the Nicoya Peninsula, in search of turtles as the arribada (roughly translates as 'arrival into port') had reportedly started. The turtles ran to their own schedule, but when they did arrive it was a stunning sight to behold. A short but sweet trip to Playa Sámara almost came up empty on turtles, as nature had it's own plan and the turtles stayed away on my first day. With stunning scenery ...
