... I showed up at Surf Riders and was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. I met my new roommates who were from all around the world and I felt like I fit in right away! On 31 October we left Puerto Calero and sailed to the south side of Lanzarote spending a night on anchor off the Rubicon Marina. Out of the shelter of the marina we are once again at the mercy of the inevitable Atlantic swell. We envisage that we will be approaching our destination tomorrow morning, at first light. We are already looking forward to a Spanish breakfast with some strong coffee, which I'm sure will swiftly be followed by mojitos and bed!
