... by now and after we actually get our tickets (use our pass) some trouble occurs in the back seats (bored children) so we decide to come straight out & head to Palm Springs - it doesn't seem a good idea to tramp around the park now. Trouble is it's over an hour to the hotel, still the thought of the swimming pool keeps them going. ... Once I'd recovered from the experience, we went for a walk around the meadow at the top of the mountain and out to the lookout points along the route! It was very peaceful and pretty up in the mountains and reminded me of scenery from Homeward Bound! And we saw loads of little geckos out on the rocks sunbathing! When we were out at one of the lookouts we all began to smell smoke, hmmm a little worrying! Soon after we began to see ...

... a room in Las Vegas are as big as not finding any in the RLD. First night we stayed at the Mirage and the next two nights at the Mandarin Oriental. What a crazy bunch of people you find here, fantastic to watch Americans go nuts. Gambling was great fun, we won at roulette, but then the croupier ripped us off in a moment of euphoria. Appreciatively the floor manager saw to it that we got paid out in the end. We lost it all ...
