Maybe they were all busy getting irradiated over in the closed-off areas. I must give kudos to California.     Checking in proved to be more tricky.
    Sweet Drew with the delicious dimples on reception smiled sweetly and told me that our room was unfortunately not quite ready but he hoped it would be ready by 5pm.
    Hmmn.

    The two complimentary drinks vouchers went someway to appease things, so we sat in the reception area and downed two beers.
