We were woken up by Bahamian music blasting through the early morning skys!! Welcome to the Bahamas!! What a welcome

Disastrous start to the day when we heard over the announcements that due to the rough seas, a list of shore excursions were cancelled and our Reef Snorkeling Adventure was on that list.

So we were in a long queue to rebook another excursion. Most of the good ones ...

Everyone said the same thing, pinch me, we can't believe where we are. Dale cooked a pot of spaghetti and everyone brought something and we had a potluck on the picnic tables and Julie & Chad provided a great toast with champagne for all. Wednesday morning we had a meeting at 8 am. and decided to go to ...

... travel like that, but I learned that I could put up with a lot more than I gave myself credit for.

I brought way too many toiletries and medication that we could have purchased along the way as needed. I think our clothing situation was good with the only exception being the rain gear and hiking sandals, which was a waste of money. We used our proper walking/hiking shoes almost the entire time. It was only when we got to Egypt, where we started to ...
