      ... Bellagio ones so we needed to come back after dark to see that, it doesn't run during the day during Ramadan. It was past lunchtime by then and with no food or drink in sight we headed back to a hotel for a sneaky bite, again from the supermarket. We had a swim in the deserted pool which was bath temperature then a shower and decided to hit the gold/spice / textile Souks down the other end of the train line in Deira. Bad idea! ...

      Our guide was Roxy, from Czechoslovakia, and was very nice. The buses were good because they were air con, but getting out was a nightmare. The heat was oppressive. Even early morning it was thirty seven degrees.

      ... this mall. Had lunch in a Lebanese restaurant excellent food especially the hummus cost 188 dirhams. Outside to get a cab home, and there was a Lamborghini and a Rolls Royce Corniche parked there on the kerb as you do here in Dubai.
