    On Maya beach a Chinese couple asked me to take a photo of them, which I did. Then they got really excited and asked if they could have a photo with me. On bamboo island a group of middle aged Chinese women asked if I could take a picture of them whilst they were lying in the sea, they then dragged me in and took my photo with them. They were all so grateful and happy, it was like being famous for the day!

    ... away the front wheel of her scooter lifted off the ground! She was pulling a wheelie and we were barely even moving. After a little re-arranging we were better balanced and back in business. The tuk tuks in Koh Lanta are different from else where in SE Asia - in fact every place or country seems to have its own personal take on this transportation marvel. Here they are 125cc scooters with questionable sidecars strapped on. So ultimately this ladies scooter was loaded ...

    ... hop on back..he thought this was more terrifying than bungy jumping lol... 11/3..up, packed and ready to rumble..our taxi collected us at 11:50, and off we went to the pier, where a ferry takes us on a 2 hr journey to Railay..not sure where we staying yet, but will figure it out when we get there..so for now that was Lanta. This place is super chilled and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, definitely put it on your trip to Thailand!!! Just be warned of the 35 - 38 degree ...

    ... to a massive rock so overrated they actually gave it a name, Ko Chuek. We stopped for 45 minutes, led by Thai Dev of the Bee Community (poor guy, he looked like a guy in India we met called Dev and he wore a shirt that resembled the strips of a bee) frantically finding fish with snorkelling gear, while battling with a boat full of Chinese to a spot amongst the fish. Next up was Ko Kradan, probably our favourite due to its everlasting memory of finally finding crystal clear waters ...

    ... at the price, we both agreed that £4-5 a main was way over the top. We turned around and chanced the local restaurant over the road and were not disappointed, we spent less than £4.50 in total and had some great vegetable tempura and a lovely chicken curry with pineapple. We paid up, grabbed a banana and Nutella pancake from a street vendor and headed to 7/11 for some water and a face mask for some mini pampering in the room before ...
