Yes we are finally in Thailand. We are met at the Krabi airport by a private shuttle. We travel via the van for almost an hour and a half including two ferry crossings which were pretty trippy (about 10-12 trucks, vans and cars, along with about 6-10 small motorcycles). Shortly after the second ferry crossing we arrive at our resort/spa. A bellman takes our luggage and we are led into a large living room like reception area, where we are ...

The girls slept, caught up ...

Today we went to the motorbike with the intent to go on the north side of the island to try paddle boarding. However the further we drove north the more we drove into a rainstorm. I didn't exactly want to paddleboard with gray skies and rain so we got information to try again tomorrow, filled up the tank with gas, and drove south towards the beaches. It's quite different here compared to other places we have been in Asia. It's more low-key and not as ...

... water is covered with a thin layer of slick- possibly oil residue. Very little conservation appears to go on here so if you want to see this place before it becomes another of the worlds landfills I suggest you do it soon. I don't know if I would recommend the snorkel tours since wading around in garbage doesn't appeal to me but the diving is quite good once you descend below the surface debris. The reefs are still ...
