As soon as we boarded the boat from Ko Phi Phi to Lanta the usual scams started, in particular the cost of taxis seem to be the main subject of debate during these conversations. The man on the boat who gets you to book in advance says it will be 500 Baht to get to your resort, however first taxi off the boat only 300 Baht, incredible! My advice on …

The lagoons steep cliffs echo now to the delegated shouts of hundreds of holiday makers whooping and hollering - any illusion of tranquility is now firmly smashed - as has the coral below also been. ... snorkeling with the sea turtles, paddle boarding, cliff jumping and did some water sports behind the boat. Kate did awesome on the wake-board. I had a hard time getting up and it was uncomfortable for my knee so i gave up. The tour included a stopover at Maya Bay where the Movie, The Beach, was filmed with Leonardo DiCaprio. We also had lunch on a very secluded beach that you can only access by boat.
