    Great hotel, but pricy

Our room was really far from the reception desk, but the views out our balcony were spectacular! There was a giraffe, water buffalo and long horned cattle right out back.

Not enough animal viewing as the main lodge

I really pushed for this villa which sleeps eight because I thought it would be fun for all six of us ladies to be in one place. But because of its location, our view of the animals on the Serengeti was no where near as good as the view from the rooms in the main AK lodge where the animals are fed. It was a disappointment, which made it seem a not-too-good value. The room was nice, but very dark. The light fixtures are thematic and they throw very little light. I don't think I'd stay at Kidani again. The parking was limited and the trek to the lobby was a long one.

    a great place to stay

We stayed here using our DVC points. We were warmly greeted at the main entrance and were informed that our room was ready even though we arrived early. The room is fabulous. I booked a standard view to save on points but our room, 7939, has a savanna view. you can just make out the pool but there is a watering hole just beneath our balcony. There are always animals out there, especially the okapi, which is rare. So far we love this resort. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, our room was spotless. the only disadvantage is probably the lack of a quick service restaurant but Jambo house is just a 5 minute ride by courtesy shuttle.

Larry drove and I stitched. It was a very long drive, but uneventful, thankfully!

Our hotel was pretty spectacular! However, we got our exercise just by walking back and forth to our room. It was about a ten minute walk. Kris,Tricia and the kids arrived about an hour after us. Violet was very excited to see the Mickey Mouse towel shape on …

We're starving and more sleep deprived than ever. We really know how to push the limit.Bring on Epcot! Our drop off point was around 3 mile from the gate - WTF is going on here, can it get worse, yep, it's still ******* down with rain (apparently there is a severe tropical ...

In AK for 9am opening and first up was the rollercoaster - Expedtion Everest - Gareth tried it for the first time and enjoyed it so they rode it again

Then we bumped into "Devine" on our way to the safari.

We then took a train ride to "Conservation Station" where you are able to see some of the research and conservation work that Disney do . We ...
