Plitvice Lakes

A travel blog entry by aoifemccarthy

Our trip to the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia was very interesting. Getting there wasn't a problem but after discovering the hostel we had booked was in the middle of nowhere and no one around spoke English, it was a little more difficult to get around. We were staying 17km outside of Plitvice Lakes in someone's house in a room upstairs. ... sun rising. Breath taking view.

We went back to sleep for a while before heading to the black beach & then off to the huge cliff by the side of our hotel where Demitrius mentioned that there's a church at the back of the cliff.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Santorini. It was a great trip and a must go for those who'd just want to sit back & let time pass by. 2-3 days tops here in my opinion. ...
