Went back to restaurant we had gone to the first night, and finally had the lamb and potatoes I had been craving for. Back to hotel very early and had a great sleep. Next morning, our last full day in Santorini. Seemed a much smaller group of us now. Decided to get ...

Before that though, I can’t wait to get to Athens and to celebrate an incredibly special birthday with an incredible special birthday boy! I likely won’t write from Athens or Monemvasia but I am determined to be more diligent once I get to Spain as I will be moving and exploring a whole lot more!!

... t get run over by the buses, trucks, cars, quad bikes and scooters all sharing the narrow streets with pedestrians.
Caught a local bus to Oia - great ride along the cliff tops. Oia situated at the northern end of the island much the same as Fira but with a different outlook and stunning views.
We have been truly blessed with great weather while here - warm and sunny with cooling wind on edge of cliffs.
Walked home and enjoyed the rest ...
