I spent the rest of the day wandering around the various art galleries and reading in the afternoon sun. Enjoying a coffee while I watched the sun set behind the mountains and then coming across a small group of dancers carrying out an indigenous ritual dance in the evening. The churro seller told me they come every Monday and, with a drum to keep the tempo, they danced and blew a conch shell to the 4 compass points and burned sage in a small fire pit. I ...

Instead of having a registry somewhere, we asked our wedding guests to donate to our excursions for our honeymoon. Cabo's excursion was swimming with dolphins! Since seeing The Cove I’m not sure how I feel about dolphins in captivity, but I couldn’t let this opportunity pass me by. If the dolphins aren’t happy, then I believe humans should not keep them in captivity. The upside to this however, is similar to my theory on zoos; ...

... was to dine at Patagonia, an Argentinian steak house. Yippeee hollered Celina! The place had reviews proclaiming it to be a "Carnivores Paradise" fortunately the menu offered a good range of selection for vegetarians as well, with Celina enjoying a grilled portabello mushroom and large baked potato. The highlight was probably the tasty and spicy chimchuri (sp) sauce that we added to everything in our meal yummy!

We boys however dined in style ...

... at anything without being jumped on by the vendor. So we went to the local rooftop bar! It's called Shooters, and is actually owned by Canadians and has Calgary Flames stuff everywhere. From 9 am - 4 pm, beer is only 10 pesos! (less than a dollar) ... but limit one per person. Good old Canadians! Roger got two Pacifico for 10 pesos each since I was just drinking ...

... for allowing us to come along with them. It was a very nice week and I know I will miss all the warmth and friendship that we experienced while in Cabo.

Oh, I should point out that I had no repercussions as a result of eating that street side taco….and I might add, it was very very good. I wish I had known nothing was going to happen because I would have enjoyed another one!!
