After yet another fantastic meal, we go past the clubs and marina to see if it's going off being a Saturday night, but it's yet another night of banging music and empty clubs so back to the hotel with some lollies and a hoping for an English movie on tv as Leesh isn't feeling too great. Expendables is on, yep early night it is. Adios. P.s. Leesh discovered why the toilet wasn't working, the tap was not turned on for automatic refill - wow we are silly ...

I spent the rest of the day wandering around the various art galleries and reading in the afternoon sun. Enjoying a coffee while I watched the sun set behind the mountains and then coming across a small group of dancers carrying out an indigenous ritual dance in the evening. The churro seller told me they come every Monday and, with a drum to keep the tempo, they danced and blew a conch shell to the 4 compass points and burned sage in a small fire pit. I ...

... was boiling with all the commotion these guys were making. Then as got close they would swim with the boat, along side and up the front, it was incredible, such an amazing sight to see. This was one of the first indicators of what the trip would be like and it had only just begun we are in for a real treat.That night we played extreme Jenga with a bit of swell and the boat rocking, it made for quick and exciting games, that was pretty good ...

... one store that caught our attention as it featured many statues from the Day of the Dead holiday that is celebrated in Mexico. On our journey back to the pier, we passed a gigantic lobster, a lighthouse; a world record sized large marlin, real pelicans, a gigantic frog climbing over a building towards us, and an Aztec Warrior. It was not an uneventful walk.

School in Alaska, done. Allison's last day was May 19th (yep, my birthday). She will go back by the middle of August, but it is daylight here until about 10 at night, hard to sleep now so school is done...

Loved Cabo, the resort was great - we had a 2 bedroom condo, 5 pools, beach, 5 restaurants on at our resort - we rented a car - we went kayaking around the arches and saw sea lions, Ken and Allison also ...
