Set off early for San Francisco airport to pick up the car. Was a bit worried id end up with something ****** like a seabring. Fortunately, I was offered a choice of a mustang or a Chevy Camero. Went for the Camero and named it Lulu! After going to all the expense of replacing my broken sat nav a few months back, I discover the Lulu has a very high end entertainment system including satellite radio, sat nav and touch screen rear view mirror. ... shaded canyon just off the river. The sites were nicely laid out and bathrooms were spotless, with hand soap (a rarity!). The only downfall was that it took us a couple of hours to get the Scamp set up. Sometimes we just cannot get it leveled and this was one of those times. Tomorrow we aim for Santa Margarita where we will try another KOA kabin situation.

Overall a great dinner, but the last part of bad service gave them a B+

      Tomales

... there? Tomales is a lovely, traditional, one-horse town. There are about a hundred homes and front doors are left unlocked unless going on holiday. It has a Ukranian deli/bakery selling delicious treats and an Asian corner-shop selling out-of-date processed food. The house is cute and controversially yellow. Do you really want to read about dog walks along the miles of unspoiled beach, the rumble of the Pacific breakers, I&A ...
