***under construction***

Got 1st class tix. had compartment to ourselves for awhile--laid down & slept. In Meknes 2 others came in.

Nice driver took us to the Cottages. Difficult to find, but he was very nice.

Got in our cottage, Sylvain showed us around. Went to the pool.

Laid down, not feeling well. A/C not working. Sylvain couldn't get it to work, so we moved to another cottage.

Dinner: chicken & couscous--delish.

It was ...

... using the landmarks our host had pointed out.

We changed clothes and went into the courtyard and put our feet into the plunge pool. Yow was it cold! After awhile we decided to go up to the top patio where we laid on lounge chairs and looked up at the sky watching the stars appear as it got darker and darker. A nice breeze kept the air moving, and it was a perfect temperature. It was quiet, but not too quiet. Definitely relaxing.

What a lovely place...

... henna layer from my arm, we went next door to the lounge, which is part of the hotel, and had a drink and a shisha pipe. The man put coals on the top ad started it off for us and we all had a try of the shisha. It almost tasted minty and made us a little light headed after a while. It was a cool experience, but I probably wouldn't be in any rush to do it again! They called last drinks so we got a couple of bottles of water and headed back to the hotel and watched some TV and went to ...
