    ... a single book on the trip - everything they need is on their iPads or online. We are using Compass Learning for our homeschool curriculum and will be working with a 5th grade Bridgepoint teacher via email and Skype to help us grade our kids' writing. Finally, our school principal asked that the kids Skype into their classrooms a couple of times during the trip and give them a presentation on a topic of their choosing. Awesome!

    The days passed with me thinking more about my duties and responsibilities -- and about Ryan, that fink, standing on the cusp of ruining Christmas. Then on the day before my maiden Santa appearance, I was talking with Terry, one of my co-workers about it all. "And Ryan will be the other Santa," I said.

    "Yeah," Terry said. "Ryan Craig makes a good Santa." My brain skidded to a stop.

    ... Laguna Beach, Huntington beach all these lovely places, i again got a flat so had to buy a new tyre in Laguna Beach on the last day as well, makes sense?? We stopped for some lunch before we hit the final stretch into Anaheim, It didn't feel like the last day it just felt like another ride. Eventually we made it after a tough afternoon session. We reached our last motel where we would check in sweaty, in full lycra with the only thought being get me in that shower! ...

    ... came to the table with long metal sticks with meat on. "Do you want some lamb sir?", "Do you want ribs?", "Do you want any file mignon sir?". They were extremly effective!!     The countdown begins to our Rocky Mountain High vacation. This trip promises to be an adventure packed with hiking, real mountain biking, photography tours and a ride up the mountain on a gondola. We are hoping to see black bears, bald eagles and elks.

    This time around I am taking a different approach. We will establish a home-base then do day trips to a different location. ...
