... a single book on the trip - everything they need is on their iPads or online. We are using Compass Learning for our homeschool curriculum and will be working with a 5th grade Bridgepoint teacher via email and Skype to help us grade our kids' writing. Finally, our school principal asked that the kids Skype into their classrooms a couple of times during the trip and give them a presentation on a topic of their choosing. Awesome!
The days passed with me thinking more about my duties and responsibilities -- and about Ryan, that fink, standing on the cusp of ruining Christmas. Then on the day before my maiden Santa appearance, I was talking with Terry, one of my co-workers about it all. "And Ryan will be the other Santa," I said.
"Yeah," Terry said. "Ryan Craig makes a good Santa." My brain skidded to a stop.

The countdown begins to our Rocky Mountain High vacation. This trip promises to be an adventure packed with hiking, real mountain biking, photography tours and a ride up the mountain on a gondola. We are hoping to see black bears, bald eagles and elks.
