      We wander into town to find some dinner and at one of the junctions all the wires and trees are full of noisy birds! It's quite a sight and sound to behold.

      After wandering round for a bit and asking a policeman for a dinner recommendation we stop at the Austin Ale House where we both have nice dinners and Pete enjoys a couple of US ales.       ... lazing by the springs, and we rented ourselves some bikes. Now I can't be the only one who found this strange, but as we took our bikes out for a test run I noticed a small problem: where are the bloody brakes!???       ... Austin's most popular (not best) taco joint. It was by no means bad- but chalked up to our least favorite meal in Austin. It was white people Mexican food all the corners that make it awesome had been shaved off for the gringo palate. Oh well. It was still good.
