... I saw my van transfer friend sitting on the beach! Apparently the second stop was the large pier I was walking to. We ended up walking back to town, grabbing dinner on the beach by umbrella light, and then drinking cachaca on the beach under a full moon. It was easily the best meal I've had in Brazil, fish and banana, a surprisingly complimentary dish!

... else. I stayed after this an extra 20 minutes until the rain sort of stopped and I waded my way out of the village to the beach front to visit the same spot that I had the BBQ in yesterday. I fancied pasta with a couple of beers to wash it down and I reflected on the day and Lopes Mendes beach and the drunken idiot.I settled into the meal with the sound of rain against the roof and Santana playing in the back ground. A hike, yes a hike,its been a while,that's my task for tomorrow.

Again, gorgeous scenery and beautiful weather. Got the taxi boat home and went for dinner in the hostel again, delicious. Few drinks out and another new experience: a cake cart that has about 20 different types of cake for sale until about midnight, heaven!
