      ... and after about 2 hours, it extended to 6. We mean, it still was a crazy night. We have two words for you: praying mantis. And no, not the yoga move. So here we are, once again looking friendly as ever, and maybe a little tipsy. We start to hear a bit of commotion happening behind us, so of course we turn and look.       Some useless information first - Koh Tao means Turtle Island and forms part of the Chumphon Archipelago on the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand. It covers an area of about 21 kmē and its official population is 1,382 but doesn't take into account the 1000s of backpackers and tourists that flock here in it's main summer season.
      The economy of the island is almost exclusively centred on tourism, especially scuba diving.

      ... Rin beach is worse than the aftermath of a saturday night in Concert Sauare, Liverpool. It is No Man's land. Abort the sutuation ASAP.

      Warning: Don't waste your time going to the doctor (only doctor) on Ko Phangan Island. She diagnosed me with "too many buckets" (of booze) and tried to "treat" me with an injection (OF WHAT?). I was hoping for some numbing cream but my bruised rib and I escaped injection free, still ...

      ... to an outside bar where we met so many people. Anna and her friends moved on but we all started talking to some lads from Liverpool, all seemed decent. We got ourselves a strong drink and went outside to enjoy another fire show. This time it was a skipping rope that people can jump over. Not sure if alcohol and fire are a good combination.
