... area is a big fishing community as you could see from the boats. It is quieter here and you can see as we start heading north the water is not as nice and the beaches are a smaller.
We arrived on Sunday and of course most everything was closed. We managed to find a couple different beaches, on both the Atlantic side and on the Sea of Abaco all within walking distance.

We are going to try for another good dive for Bryan and John around the Atlantic side of the Green Turtle Cay then off to find a beach for John he's only here today and tomorrow so needs some relaxation time too.
The plan is to anchor again tonight somewhere location to be determined later in the day. The sun is shining what a surprise a few clouds hanging around but nothing bad.

We've been on the water for so long and we are down to our final weeks now. My flight is booked back to Calgary for March 24th I have apt.s there for a week then off to the Island. Bryan has friends joining him on El Nido for a week so Nellie gets out of putting the boat to rest in Fort Lauderdale and I'm not unhappy to miss the Gulf Stream passage either :-)
A note for next year if you are people that like music you definitely want ...
We are still in Green Turtle Cay. Nasty cold front arriving today. All anchorages and marinas in the Bahamas are packed with boats seeking shelter, so we decided to stay where we are until conditions improve. We are doing something different this year. ... Great Sale Cay (10 hours) and anchored for the night. Sunday, left at 7 a.m.for Green Turtle Cay (11 hour motor into the wind with 5' waves breaking over the bow). We were very glad to get there. We will have pictures and further updates later this week. We will stay put til next week sometime. All our best. Pictures are below.
