      Its Xmas Eve and my travel today consists of jeepney – ferry – tricycle – bus – tricycle. The more vehicles I have to get on and off, the more confusing and exhausting the day. I'm headed for a beach where I intend on camping during the xmas period. My only directions are what ive found on other peoples (locals Filipinos) travel blogs, so as usual im winging with with a few plans a, b, c etc and hoping it all falls into place.

      Just checking in. Everyone is doing well. Open water course is almost completed. We did two open water dives today, one of which was in the company of what seems like millions of sardines schooling around us. Absolutely amazing.       Monday we headed back to Cebu and now I'm about to head out to do a bit of shopping ready for the next part of my trip. I have been accepted onto Project Leyte with All Hands Volunteers. Based in Ormoc, a town hit hard by the typhoon, I'll spend the next three weeks doing 6 hours a day or demolition, salvaging and rebuild work alongside the locals who were affected by the storm.
