... on the French side of Saint Maartens. We ate lunch at a popular restaurant there called Rosemary's. Lunch was very good. Paula got ox tail and goat of all things for lunch. She decided to be bold I guess. After lunch she wanted to shop a bit and her husband Chris wanted a pastry. We were directed to a little restaurant that had pastry. After some more time walking around the town center we got a taxi to go back to the ship. Tonight we have our wine makers dinner and afterwards we ...

On a different trip, we got to see two continents at the same time, and this time, we got to experience two extremes of weather on the same day. We boarded our plane in LA which was due to fly to Fort Lauderdale, Florida via Cleveland, Ohio. When we landed at Cleveland, boy was it cold!  In fact, we landed on a runway covered in snow and there was this huge cloud of white wash over the aircraft when we touched down. The pilot was obviously experienced ...

The flight was good, and I even got to speak some more spanish. The writing on the forms was too small for the lady next to me to read so I translated for her. We had 30 minutes in the airport before we were on our way. We re boarded, took off, had dinner, then i slept the rest of the way, because I had 3 seats to myself! ...

... The weather is awesome in the north. Amsterdam can be avoided forever, it's too crazy and smokey. I love Paris, but it has become too much of a tourist town. Vienna and Munich were great but these larger cities has way too many shops. I feel like the is an H&M store at every corner, just like McDonalds. Switzerland was great and so was Salzburg, for the day trips and wish I could have seen more. Maybe one day, I'll get a job traveling the world ...

Sleeping in a bed – and not in an airplane/aeroplane seat – was a relief.  As a result, last night was comfortable.  We left Hayley’s bike bag behind so it could be shipped to Missouri for the triathlon.  Having one less excessively large piece of baggage to lug around was nice. *Cough* It wouldn’t be so bad if Owen didn’t fill the bike bag with several kilos of **** (surplus clothes) he is planning to leave at ...
