... we thought we were getting. For the main course I had crab cakes and Ann ordered a shrimp dish tha ended up being more like an appetizer. She then ordered chicken in green curry. Dessert was agin ice cream for me and Ann had fried ice cream. It was a great meal with good company a great end to the day. We left went back to our room and Ann and I wTched a movie until late or early, I guess that's what holidays are for.

... absolutely wonderful with Mabel and Lola. They play all the time. He listens well and has learned to sit and walk on a leash. Unfortunately, it will take some time for his hair to grow back even though the mange has been cured.

If anyone out there can help us find a new home for Floyd that would be great!

... just been announced with much hoo-ha by Lonely Planet as the third best place to visit in the world – Who needs all this travel nonsense?! Well no disrespect, but I still prefer 34 degree heat and beaches at the **** end of October!

In the taxi ride, a guy selling newspapers came up to the window, with a gruesome murder in full view on the front page. Nothing like that to serve as a healthy reminder of exactly where I still was, and what I had just come from. ...

... and we were ready to go. Dois had started the engine and was eyeballing the dock lines when the radio chirped up with the morning's Cruiser's Net. The Net started in an unusual way; with a warning. The storms had generated a bit of a swell and the marina entrance appeared to have shoaled a bit, that is... to have built up a sand bar and made it more shallow than usual.
