The city of Bruges is awesome because it is one of the only medieval cities in Europe that remained untouched during the world wars and is still in tact due to bombs not being dropped in Bruges. Made an early start after a delicious breakfast. Went and parked the car outside the old town as the day before. Today was a special day and the town was blocked off to cars. ... Anne had highly recommended the canal cruise, with the tip to do it in the morning when it wasn't so busy. So we took a right and then a right again and that found us at the ticket booth.
