Tulum is an ancient Mayan site from the 12th century which is right next to the beach and has amazing well kept ruins with palm trees scattered around the site. We arrived and walked to the entrance in the sweltering heat. The whole place was crawling with tourists trying to get some shade under ...

First stop - Gatwick. No chance of a lie in today, leaving at 7.30am, my ...

... it on our 30min surface interval , then found another spot that lots of divers were at but they were heading off. So we hopped on in, took about 5 mins to find them. And then we sure did. You have to imagine the water is only at about 15m visibility so you're just waiting for a shadow to form and a shark to pop out of the blue. Suddenly we were surrounded by more than we could count and keep our eyes on, we estimate 8-12 of them circling only us as we were the only divers ...

... and I both enjoyed the ride a lot, we got back filthy compared to everyone else but didn't mind because we had fun, i didn't see much of the jungle because I was concentrating on riding and not hitting anything, Bobbie didn't spot any Toucans. We got cleaned up and went onto the next activity, the zip lines. We all got hooked into harnesses, had more photos taken then all had to climb this massive ladder up into the tree tops. This ladder was very unsafe, you were ...
