Tomorrow week ago, we arrived here at Port Douglas, where we'll stay till first week in August. This first week here in this beautiful BIG 4 Park, we have settled in to our main holiday. We had a day at Mosman. On Thursday we all went up to Daintree where Neil took us on a mystery tour looking at some cattle and very pretty countryside. ... but it got a bit cold so we got out and ate some fruit. The next dive site was about 15mins away and at this one all the certified divers (Sophie and her big time mates) jumped off the boat 'Navy Seal' style! It was very exciting apart from for Sophie who was a bit stressed out. Especially at the Chinese man who kept putting his flippers in her designated scuba kit area. ... down to the water, the belt started slipping so I shouted to him and by the time he had come back up, it had slipped off. So his solution was simple. ... alle Ausflüge in Australien in der Regel sehr teuer sind. Auf der Karte zeigt man uns einen Rundwanderweg. Zum Startpunkt gibt es einen Shuttlebus, da es sich aber nur um 2 Km handelt können wir die auch gleich laufen. Der Pfad führt durch einen wunderschönen Regenwald, vorbei an kleinen Flüssen und Seen. Schade das die Kamera nicht wiedergeben kann was das Auge wirklich sieht. Hinzu kommen noch die Geräusche der Tiere ...
