What a spectacular day out. Wave Dancer took us out to part of the Great Barrier Reef to just one of the nearly 3000 Islands. The boat can take 150 people but there were only 39 on board for our sailing yesterday. Two big sails to assist the motor made it a picturesque vessel and great to sail in. There was a significant swell coming home but we felt fine. Unlike the significant swell and the accompanying feelings on Fouveaux Strait some years ...

Yesterday we went to Port Douglas. It was so cool, we went to the markets and we tried Sugar Cane Juice, it has a very nice taste and the man was making right in front of us, so it was really fresh. From the park you can see the Daintree River. Apparantly, ...

Stopped in Westport that evening which dad had been informed was the culinary capital of the west coast so we were really looking forward to a delicious meal. Judith and David were extremely generous and had given Alice money to take us all out for a meal and so we decided to put that to good use. Girlies left dad at the caravan sight and went off to find the two recommended restaurants, it was all a bit strange when the lady ...
