    So. Here I am in the San Diego airport after a whirlwind of 2 weeks of biking, goodbyes, and preparation for the next chapter of my life.     ... mountainous this area is. I had imagined it to be quite flat but that thought was not based on anything - just an assumption I guess. The number of massive houses parked on top of hills was phenomenal - some people here clearly do not need to be tipped - they have ample savings & more!
