Once down on the street to experience the parade, we joined in on the fun, taking photos and waving to the children in the parade.

All Aboard - we are off to Valencia
... which is what we did. First, we wandered through the streets, taking photos, before arriving at the cathedral. There was a queue to see La Luz del Belen, which was a large nativity scene displayed at the Cathedral. On Higher Ground
... fisrt chapel was built in the 9th century, but that no longer exists, but in and around the mountains, hermits caves can still be seen. The monastery was destroyed during the War of Independence against France in 1811. It was rebuilt in 1844 and has been a large part of the culture of the Spanish people of this region, including during the Franco years. It is made up of a number of different buildings, but the Basilica is a beautiful work of art.

... narrated by none other than Leonardo Dicaprio. Go and see a movie here as it's a great experience, but not if you're tired and emotionally drained! The hairs are uber comfortable and reclining so you'll probably miss the movie anyway.

We left our home and boarded the Metro Ligero at about 08:00. We rode to Colonia Jardine where we switched to the Blue 10 line. We rode that to the Tribunal stop and switched to the light blue 1 line. We rode that to the Atocha Renfe stop. From the Metro we made our way to the Cercanias portion of the terminal.
