First. These were all taken on our last day of the trip. Not Cabo. After leaving at 7 sharp on Monday morning we are trekking SE to the most picturesque portion of the trip. After going thru a lot of(about 175 miles) of pretty flat desert and plains we go steeply up in elevation maybe 4000 feet. ... an off-roading adventure in our Jeep. With me behind the wheel, a tiny map and an attitude you could shake a stick at we ventured off into the bush and dirt roads to further discover what the town was all about. We found empty beaches, quiet holiday homes, vultures, friendly locals, beautiful views, more desert and more sunshine. I definitely recommend this place for a day trip!

... along with the different kind of life in the coast from other coast in Mexico. Its recommendable to rent a car if you want to visit most of the bays, without going on public transport, and never be shy to ask locals for the best places to eat in town. Always rent a hotel next to a beach if you want to experience those lovely sunsets, and last but not least respect the sea, as its a powerful force of nature. :-)

We noticed lots of people carrying what looked like pizza boxes, and then saw what it was in the Mega store ... some sort of huge (2 ft long - at least a ft wide) pasty wreath with "Roscon de reyes" on the box.
