... I would bring a cooler with your own cold drinks! The snorkeling is best swimming to the right side of shore and out. We even snorkeled all the way to Mermaids beach. You can also hike there and then snorkel, but you miss a lot under the water. We went here several times as it was so cool.
There were also dive shops in town that have some awesome trips. First they took us out to snorkel with the sea lions, but that day there were not interested in swimming ...

Day three we ventured to the almighty Wal-Mart where I spent far too much money on beauty products that are three times the price back home! After getting back to the hotel there was nothing left to do except sip on iced drinks poolside. When in Mexico!
On our 4th day in Cabo I experienced one of the greatest moments in my life! We parasailed in the Sea of Cortez, with a view to die for, on a clear Summer's day there was nothing ...
... the night away. Everything seemed so glamorous and they had poles so that people could dance on them, something quite comical and familiar to the clubs back in England. Although I was surprised to see some exceptional talented women who could pole dance amazingly! After a long night and fun night, we decided to go back to our hotel. 30 minutes away from San Jose del Cabo.

... off the highway to enjoy this spectacle. The whales have now given birth in the Sea of Cortez and are migrating back to Alaska with their calves for the summer. We have seen both humpback and grey whales and judging by their numbers in our vicinity the population is numerous and healthy.

... bottles and beer in the fridge, sugar, cereal, condiments ... pretty much what we needed other than milk and fruit.
I sent an email home to say we arrived safely, while Roger had a beer on the balcony. We saw horses on the beach, and there was lots of happy hour revelry at the pool/bbq area. Mostly retired-looking people in this complex, which suits us just fine.
