... scratched the surface! (Or bit the torta, should I say?)
Warning: the majority of photos included are snaps of our meals. While we didn't have the opportunity to eat all that Puebla has to offer, we ate well, and often. Breakfast at our hotel turned out to be surprisingly good. What's actually surprising is that when reviewing our collective photos, we're actually missing meals.

... we found a bar called 'Cabo Wabo', which is owned by the great rock musician Sammy Hagar. We decided to have a beer in this amazing bar and ask if the bar would be open during night hours. We then went back home, had a nap and got ready for this excitable night out. When we went out we went to Cabo Wabo, it was loud and full of life with young people, mostly Americans. Our Westjet flight left Regina at 1:25 pm. Ryan B drove us to the airport. Our flight was on time and uneventful (other than me kicking Roger's butt at "Julie rummy"), and we arrived ahead of the scheduled 4:55 pm.
Cabo is one hour behind us ... so 4:55 here is 5:55 at home.
It cost us $45 US for a taxi to Viva Condos. Ouch ... but we had a very nice new Suburban with ...
... and watched a few minutes of the Up With People DVD as only Edgardo and his daughter, Daniella, were able to come to the show. I said good-bye to his wonderful family as only Edgardo will be taking Ronja and I to the buses tomorrow morning. He will be bringing my host family book and recipes with him.
And his wife promised that, when I come back to Puebla (not if, when!), she'd show me how to make mole as the ingredients are only available in Mexico.
