... please take note, my lunch break is half an hour. We wandered around the town and then went for a hot drink at a cafe offering free wifi, Les downloaded the mapping for Switzerland on to the laptop whilst I researched camping sites in the mountains, and we looked at the forecast for tomorrow when we cross the mountains - a high of -4 with snow, wow that sounds exciting. Back at Dream Catcher ...

... right path, this ended at some rocks that had ropes to help you to climb up them, Logan tried it out but didn't quite make the first ledge, he should have used the ropes! We returned back the way we had come, before long it was dark, we cooked and then I read whilst Les uploaded done photographs. Tomorrow we leave Italy and make our way through Switzerland to our next home in France.

... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. Pizzas are good here (unlike Rome). We then followed Fabio's advice and caught the ferry into Como. We spent the afternoon walking about the main part of the city - lovely old buildings, huge Duomo (surprise!!), partially unfinished waterfront, shops ...

A few days to unwind in Bellagio

After our activity-filled time in Switzerland, Caroline had planned for the next 5 day segment of our trip to be a little more relaxed with no commitments whatsoever. We took an early morning train from Zermatt to Brig, another train across the Italian border to Milan, and then a third train to Como. We found a taxi that could accommodate our luggage and drove for about 45 minutes to beautiful Bellagio. The drive took us alongside Lake Como, and while the view ...
