We had a lovely afternoon walking around Lenno and exploring the other towns along the lakes shoreline, it is just a shame that weather was not clearer so we could appreciate the Alps separating Italy and Switzerland more clearly.

After our activity-filled time in Switzerland, Caroline had planned for the next 5 day segment of our trip to be a little more relaxed with no commitments whatsoever. We took an early morning train from Zermatt to Brig, another train across the Italian border to Milan, and then a third train to Como.
