... streets with cobbled ground leading to as yet unexplored shops and cafés. We strolled along the front and then up the hill behind the buildings to see view. Sampled the gelato, had to be done! Strawberry and coffee, not together! Then came down the narrow cobbled street stopping off at a wine shop. Todays adventure was always destined to be more sedate than yesterdays little excursion from Venice to Como. In the evening we went to Argegno for drinks. Happy hours....served with pizza, focaccia, cheese & honey, salami etc, all free of ...

We went into the city centre for dinner on Saturday and the place was heaving with bands playing, people eating out everywhere, pop up bars and restaurants all through the main plaza's etc. The boys loved it, but not as much as the girls who had another late night out ending up in a dodgy nite club called Choco-Late. A very clever name that one.
We went back in on Sunday for lunch and ...

... us to see everything including the 50 piece orchestra who were as interesting to watch as the production itself. At times there must have been over 200 actors on stage and there were at least 7 or 8 horses that made their appearance. I couldn’t help but wonder if the horses were stabled in the old lions’ dens and if they could still smell or sense them anymore. It certainly didn’t seem like they were upset by anything. It was such a large ...
