    ... and throughout the Bahamas - they have an bit of a problem with stray dogs. In fact, they give them a name. They're called "Potcakes". (Not to be confused with a different item by the same name in Colorado, Washington and Oregon). They are called Potcakes because Locals will scrape the cake-like residue from the bottom of their rice pots and throw them in the streets for the local strays to eat. Bahamians have embraced this term to the point where they have t-shirts ...

    ... the big boys do it, right?) So promptly at 10:02am, I called Customs to no avail. No answer. No voicemail. So next I called White Crown FBO where we'd planned to tie down after arrival to see what they knew about Customs schedule. The woman there told me Customs phone may not be working but, moreover, calling ahead to file an Arrival Report is not required if flying a single engine. Hmmm. Misinformation Item #2. Satisfied with that item clarified, ...

    Someone said at dinner tonight that Princess makes more money at this port than at any other port on this cruise … and I can believe it.

    Firstly, it is really a beautiful island … well the part we saw - what's not to love? Gorgeous crystal blue water with tropical fish swimming around, glistening white sand, palm trees, sun and a cool breeze.

    Then of course there is the Princess perspective … ...

    ... 160; Josh and I took several spins on the water slides and the morning was actually pretty nice (although overcast).  Around noon the skies behind the ship became pitch black and I knew we were in for a storm so we packed up our belongings and went over to grab lunch at Cookies, Too (where our dining room team was working).   I’m so glad we did this as we beat the lunch rush and the rush to take shelter ...
