... heaven (I love bubbles!). The atmosphere was really fun - no seats, really, just standing, eating, talking, and drinking.

Then we ran into the "great bathroom disaster of 2015" when we headed to the next place on my list for another round of cicchetti. No bathroom there, and I had to go. Turns out, public bathrooms in Venice are few and far between, and even less available after 7. We walked pretty much ...

... is a straight shot from here and after that there are signs that sort of point you in the right direction. We found the bridge and half of it is under construction - just my luck. It is better viewed from the water.

... the top of their lungs or dancing on tables. It was hilarious, and I couldn't help but think that this kind of place would do so well in Boksburg or Benoni. lol

On the Sunday, the weather was amazing, so Cristina's folks decided to take their boat out and show me Venice from the water. (Yes, their house has a boat garage straight into the channels) !!
It was an incredible and chilled day. Felt really privileged to have been able ...

Our last full day in Venice. Big plans to go to the big **** Dumo in San Marco square. There is always a massive line up for this church, so it must be impressive. We thought to go there straight after breakfast and get a good place in line. A bit cross today, I think maybe just tired with our massive days. The Dumo opens at 10:00 and we had finished breakfast at 9:00 so the thought of waiting for an hour didn't appeal. We were still cross trying to make ...
