It was with a little bit of sadness we left Queensland and
headed south to Brunswick Heads. I was
feeling sad because in the lead up to our trip the children were referring to “Queensland”

We returned to Hotel Brunswick to have dinner and managed to jag a Sunday session with an awesome band playing some current, reasonably new and good ol rock & roll songs; it really ended a great day.

Today I went on a school excursion to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. When everyone had arrived we headed in and were spilt into 2 groups. My group was the first group to go and listen to one of the workers at the Sanctuary, Kate, who spoke to us about various animals and what their natural habitats are and lots of fun, interesting facts about them. ... town. This place was worth the walk though it was situated right on the beach front and was pretty quiet and peaceful . . . the perfect place to chill out and relax! Once we had checked in and dumped our bags off we headed back in to town for a quick look around before heading to the main beach. The first thing we noticed is that the town isn't really as 'hippyish' as everyone makes out, it's mostly just a load of English travellers who think they are hippies ...
