... weather is like and if the sea was calm or rough. Last night here was a gale and I thought of those at sea. Even with the best stabilisers you get some sway. It all reminded me to get some Avomine! I don't get sea sick but also prevention is better than cure. A great deal of the fun of holidays is this time of anticipation. Getting Monty ready

... six cars! Car moved and went to fire up Monty - another campervan parks up in the space. Another negotiation!! Eventually Monty is able to get out and off to fill up with diesel.
Once David arrives home and gets scrubbed down, we set off to the New Forest to our planned stop at Sway. Fish and chips picked up in Brockenhurst on the way.

... George IV had it built when he was Prince Regent in the early 1800s. Lavish does not begin to describe the interior. It’s amazing! ... turtles that we saw were magnificent and one was in its 60s and the other in its 70s. There were also some sharks and a big assortment of fish. The boat ride was fun and the guy operating it told us about the creatures who lived in the tank.
