... is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once we arrive at Koh Samui (Lipa Noi Pier) we get in a private taxi / van that takes a group of us to various hotel stops along the way. We were the third stop which took over an hour to get to. By this time we were all ready for a shower and something to eat and drink.

... than a blood needle and I was already feeling faint and dizzy. The lovely nurse spent a number of minutes trying to find a vein on my left hand or arm but they had gone into hiding. So despite me being right handed she had to try my right hand. As she was digging around with the needle 2 ladies were talking to Darren about our insurance and I was expected to reply without trying not to move, faint or vomit. ... goodbye party. We made some crazy banana heads (with funky colors and funny faces) as a treat for school. They loved it. She felt very special. In the end it was harder to say goodbye than we could have imagined.

Satisfied we sat and waited for our flight, having used the last of our Singapore dollars to buy magazines etc. We were leaving Singapore for the Thai island of Koh Samui on its south east coast.
