Our evening meal was at Muoi's Feast. This great restaurant was appropriatley on Fletcher St. and was recommended from our motel. It is modern Australian with an Asian influence. We had a mixed entree to start which had duck spring rolls , prawn rolls and scallops accompanied by a Thai salad. Delicious! Fletcher then had a Filet Mignon accompanied by prawns and scallops while I had the Wild Duck. Both ...

... to the lighthouse with great views on the way and beautiful beaches :) The rainforest is amazing! We also saw a dolphin school swimming past :)) We have luck with the weather even though it's humid it doesn't rain that often. On our to-see list is Nimbin which is apparently even more hippie than here, a waterfall and a garden... Today we will go into the forest to see glowing mushrooms haha Peace out ...

Pearcy I think was still half stoned after eating half a weed cookie in Nimbit not that he ...

... us stood up, yeeehawing and doing the surfer salute with little finger and thumb waving madly. The guy was a natural. The conditions were even tougher today making it really hard work. The instructor reassured us that it was challenging today and not to be disheartened if we were finding it difficult. It was really cool to see a 12 year old local Aussie lad having his first surf lesson today. It was like a coming of age thing, a huge ...

... The views were stunning though and worth it. The lighthouse sits on a cliff that is the most easterly point of Australia so is a popular walk. After about 20 minutes though it dawned on me that I had to walk all the way back and I was already knackered...needless to say I was in desperate need of food and water when I finally made it back to the hostel. Like I mentioned that evening we had a hostel BBQ which was a good opportunity to get to know some of the other backpackers. ...
