Byron Bay makes you feel like your in the sixties. The small town is filled with free loving pot smoking hippies playing guitar on the beautiful beach. In the morning we are taken on the lighthouse walk taking in the most easterly point of Australia. J & J maybe in their 60’s but we cant keep up with them. They are amazing, fit and healthy, happily putting us to shame as they do the climb. Note to self, loose weight, get fit and grow younger, now!

... turtles. The first one was a small one and resurfaced within touching distance of our group. There was also a massive one that we saw at the bottom of the ocean. I saw a couple of leopard sharks, which are not dangerous. They are bottom feeders. I also saw a school of squid, eels, various fish of all sizes and colours, and many sea urchins.
