... a glass of wine while watching the sunset. Then we headed for Clarks Seafood & Chops (a favorite eatery) for scallops and crab cakes. The combination of a warm day (Mag actually was in shorts and tee shirt for awhile), quick passage thru the last drawbridge, easy mileage with no real navigational hotspots, made for a very satisfying days run topped off with a great meal. We are comfortable here for the night with fajitas for dinner and a peaceful evening ahead. Not much else to report. We brought food from our van into the room and had a picnic of sorts. It was nice just spreading out and relaxing. Chris felt much better after getting some good sleep and I enjoyed the warmth. Overall I think it was a good ...

... Tomorrow is a 'must do' run to Georgetown to (again) hook to shore power for the electric heater. This next cold front is touted to be the most severe so far this year and we can't survive comfortabyly without heat. While Mr. Heater is good, he is expensive to operate. He's great to have when there are no other options but the fuel he burns is costly. We've already overspent the marina budget due to the cold weather and adding butane cylinders to this ...

... but we managed to get some sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, peppers and even some boiled peanuts. We had never had boiled peanuts before and the guy said that outsiders usually don’t like them because it’s an acquired taste but after a little test peanut we thought they were great. They kind of turn into beans more than nuts which is yummy! We bought a bag and continued on our way. We got to North Myrtle Beach when it was just starting to get dark but it ...
